Dates to be announced:
All clubs in Wisconsin and Iowa are currently using the League One software and producing rosters that are stamped with their respective State Association Stamp prior to April 11th's games. The Minnesota Clubs are using MYSA Keeper to produce their registration paperwork and are required to present a roster to Andy Olson for approval prior to the April 11th games. 4,5,6 - CRC Tournament CRUSA will host this tournament. Volunteers are going to be needed to share a number of responsibilities including: Field Marshals, Referee Coordinator, Registration and Concessions.
The Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association has recognized that the western half of Wisconsin has been lacking in competitive soccer. For this reason they are organizing the Western Wisconsin Classic Soccer League.
At this time the organizing committee of the WWCSL is not placing an emphasis on the competitive level rather we are trying to get as many teams involved in the league to get it going.
Here is how it will work.
The WWCSL is comprised of Soccer clubs on the western half of Wisconsin. It will include clubs from Prairie du Chien to Ashland and from Hudson to Wausau. However all of the games will be played in West Central Wisconsin.
The games will be scheduled on 3 different Saturdays in April and May. On each of the game dates every team in the WWCSL will travel to the same location and play 2 games against different teams in your age bracket.
At this time the dates and locations are:
April 24th Marshfield May 8th Eau Claire
May 8th Eau Claire
May 22nd Marshfield
So you will be playing a total of 6 games (2 games/day, 3 days). It may not happen this year however in the future the winner of each age division will receive an invite into the WYSA State Championship Tournament.
The entry fee is $50.00 per team. Each game the teams will split the refs fees. The total cost would be approx $350.00. This is the cost of one tournament but you are guaranteed 6 games vs 3.
If you are currently playing in the CRC spring league we will reschedule your CRC games to accommodate the WWCSL schedule.
